Key Responsibilities

The pharmacist is responsible for filling and labeling prescriptions, managing controlled substance inventory, and providing drug-related information to patients and staff. They also supervise pharmacy technical support staff and perform clinical interventions such as medication profile reviews and therapeutic drug monitoring.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy and hold a valid Registered Pharmacist license in the State of Texas. A minimum of two years of hospital pharmacy experience is required, with knowledge of unit dose medication and I.V. admixture processes.
