Key Responsibilities

The Speech and Language Pathologist will provide a full spectrum of speech pathology services, including evaluation and treatment for various disorders such as speech and language impairments, cognitive deficits, visual field issues, and dysphagia. The employee must consider age-specific needs when administering care by addressing biophysical, psychological, educational, and environmental requirements of the patient and their significant others.

Requirements

Required qualifications include a Master's degree or equivalent in Speech/Language Pathology, current California state licensure, and the Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. Candidates must also possess current CPR certification and experience treating diverse age groups with various diagnoses, including clinical dysphagia and neurological disorders.
