Key Responsibilities
The social worker will conduct clinical assessments and screenings for individuals at Rikers Island and provide ongoing individual therapy at outpatient treatment centers. They are responsible for maintaining accurate case records, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support client reentry.
Licensure & Certifications
Candidates must hold an LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW license and possess at least one year of clinical experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong organizational skills, and experience with psychiatric issues or trauma are required.
