Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Technician participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and provides therapeutic support services, including crisis management and psychosocial groups. They also assist in maintaining patient records, scheduling, and supporting telepsychiatry operations within a correctional healthcare setting.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a Social Science and have at least two years of experience in activities programming for patients with serious mental illness. Additionally, applicants must maintain current tuberculosis documentation, active CPR/AED certification, and be able to pass a background investigation.
