The occupational therapist is responsible for delivering therapy services under a physician-approved plan of care and ensuring the safety and effectiveness of the treatment process. They must also complete accurate documentation and supervise home health aides when necessary.
Candidates must hold a current license to practice occupational therapy and be a graduate of an ACOTE-accredited program. Additionally, they must be eligible for or have completed the NBCOT certification and possess at least one year of related experience.
