Your Role in Home Health

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with VRNS, you’ll provide skilled physical therapy interventions in patients’ homes under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You’ll help patients build strength, improve mobility, and work toward greater independence through individualized care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled therapy interventions under a Physical Therapist’s direction
• Assist patients with transfers and safe mobility
• Teach patients and caregivers exercises and safety techniques
• Monitor progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Complete timely and accurate electronic documentation

Requirements

Need to Have

• Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience
• Afternoon availability

Nice to Have

• Previous home care experience
• Monday–Friday availability
