PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) - Acute Care

Key Responsibilities

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Occupational Therapist in providing rehabilitative activities and exercise programs to restore patient function. They are responsible for preparing equipment and building strong, supportive relationships with patients to help them achieve functional goals.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an approved occupational therapist assistant program and hold current state licensure. A Basic Life Support certification via the American Heart Association is also required.
