Key Responsibilities

The therapist will provide direct virtual and occasional in-person social work services to new mothers up to 18 months post-partum, focusing on conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans. Key duties also involve collaborating with internal and external parties and ensuring continuity of care as mothers transition from the Healthy Start program.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field and be licensed as a mental health professional in Michigan, with limited licenses accepted. Essential qualifications include knowledge of social work services for at-risk families and strong skills in communication and managing a fast-paced environment.
