Job Description

Valley Medical Group, part of the Valley Health System in Paramus, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Neurohospitalist to join our growing Medical Specialties Service Line.

The Neurohospitalist is a board certified/board eligible neurologist specializing in the inpatient management of patients with acute and complex neurologic conditions.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence based care in collaboration with emergency medicine physicians, hospitalists, intensivists, neurointensivists, neurosurgeons, and multidisciplinary teams.

The Neurohospitalist plays a critical role in optimizing patient outcomes, throughput, and care transitions across the continuum.

Key Responsibilities

The Neurohospitalist will manage acute and complex neurologic conditions for inpatients within the Valley Health System. They will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including intensivists and neurosurgeons, to optimize patient outcomes and care transitions.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and be board certified or board eligible in Neurology. Applicants are also required to possess or be eligible for a New Jersey medical license, DEA, and CDS.
