PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT IV-HOSPITALIST-MT. PLEASANT

Join Independence Health System as a Physician Assistant – Hospitalist, Mt. Pleasant PA in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania. Evaluates, examines, diagnose, and treats patients in collaboration with their supervising and or substitute supervising physician according to established guidelines and protocols. Maintains and promotes the well-being of the patient through preventative healthcare and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Regular, consistent, on-site, and timely attendance.

• Collects patient assessment data in a systematic manner, focusing on the physical, psychosocial, age, cultural and spiritual needs of the patient.

• Performs systematic physical exam and history of present illness.

Requirements

• Related training/experience (preferably within the past five years)

• One-year medical/surgical experience

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.

• Call responsibilities required.

• Weekend coverage may be required.
