Nurse Practitioner

Join Phoenix Group Home as a Nurse Practitioner in Remote - Nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive mental and behavioral health care by integrating services with psychiatry, clinical therapists, and case management for a diverse adolescent and adult patient/family population.

• Collaborate closely with physicians to ensure high-quality integrated care, offering consultation, education, and cooperation with other healthcare professionals.

• Assess, diagnose, and treat individuals and families while providing client education and appropriate referrals.

• Work together with the Medical Director and other physicians or Nurse Practitioners in scheduled care conferences.

Requirements

• Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from an accredited university.

• Licensure: Board of Nursing licensure - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Active DEA required.

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a behavioral health environment. A thorough knowledge of billing and coding guidelines is essential.

• Physical Effort: This position requires the ability to work under stressful conditions and to work irregular hours. Requires sitting for extended periods of time, viewing computer monitors, and keyboarding.
