Job description
We are seeking Gastroenterologists for 24-hour call coverage in Bay City, Michigan, with ongoing needs extending through 2026.
Coverage Schedule
Monday 7 AM - Thursday 7 AM
24-hour coverage

Friday 7 AM - 7 PM
No weekend call required.
Available Dates for Coverage
- October 26 - October 30
- December 7 - December 11
- December 21 - December 25
Procedural Skills Required
- ERCP proficiency is mandatory.
- Hospitalist support is available.
- There are two colorectal surgeons in the community.
- The GI clinic is conveniently located less than half a mile from the hospital.

Board Certification
Required; we are open to reviewing candidates who are Truly Board Eligible.

Preferred; no travel expenses will be covered.
DEA Certification
Malpractice History
Must be clean; no exceptions for expedited credentialing.

A self-query must be presented (should be pulled within 30 days prior to start) and is required.

Provide 24-hour gastroenterology call coverage and perform necessary clinical procedures at a hospital in Bay City, Michigan. Collaborate with hospitalist support and local colorectal surgeons to ensure patient care.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a valid Michigan medical license, be board certified or truly board eligible, and possess mandatory ERCP proficiency. A clean malpractice history and current DEA certification are required for expedited credentialing.
