About the Role
Join CHILDHELP as a Hotline Counselor FT in United States. Job DetailsJob Location: Remote - TN - TNPosition Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $25.00 - $27.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Counseling Services: Offer empathetic and undivided attention to help-seekers through phone calls, texts, and live chats, understanding their immediate needs and developing brief action plans.
- Documentation & Reporting: Accurately and completely enter relevant data into our Hotline database in a timely manner, and report information to authorities when legally required.
- Collaborate and Grow: Attend staff meetings, complete required trainings, and actively participate in team discussions to identify effective approaches and interventions.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience working with family violence and/or child abuse.
- Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of laws and regulations surrounding physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, child abuse, neglect, and legal reporting requirements.
- Ability to successfully complete digital services training and pass all proficiency tests.
