Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner- Neurosurgery (Nights Only)

Key Responsibilities

The role involves performing technical procedures for patient admission, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and outcome evaluation, while also participating in performance improvement, research, and educational activities. Key duties include taking histories, performing exams, writing orders, interpreting results, and conferring with care providers to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with a Bachelor's degree and hold current NYS PA licensure and NCCPA Certification, or hold a Master's degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program with National Board Certification and NYS NP/RN licensure. Current BLS certification is required for both tracks.
