Job Description
Part-time, Behavioral Health Technician position, 2 South
St. Vincent's Hospital Westchester in Harrison, New York is seeking a dynamic, experienced Behavioral Health Technician for a part time evening position; shifts on our inpatient behavioral health and chemical dependency rehabilitation units. You will work in collaboration with our exceptional nursing leadership and multidisciplinary treatment team. Behavioral Health experience and High School Diploma or Equivalency preferred.
Physical Demands: Sitting and standing for long periods of time, bending, lifting and pushing may be required; mobility within the department is expected.
Extended periods working with computers.
Pay: 1199 Collective Barganing Union Rates
Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Technician will work in collaboration with nursing leadership and a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide care on inpatient units. Responsibilities include supporting patients in behavioral health and chemical dependency rehabilitation settings.
Requirements
Candidates should have a High School Diploma or Equivalency and prior behavioral health experience is preferred. The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, lifting, and pushing, as well as computer proficiency.
