Job description
Join BMC Software as a Physician Practice Coder – Remote in United States. Conducts CPT and ICD-10 coding reviews by detailed examination of each line item in the physician medical record and charge session. Performs chart audits to ensure correct coding and charge capture have been applied appropriately.

Key Responsibilities
Conducts detailed CPT and ICD-10 coding reviews and chart audits to ensure accurate charge capture and billing. Collaborates with revenue cycle stakeholders to perform root cause analysis on denials and provide feedback to providers.
Requirements
Requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience and a CPC or CPC-A certification. Candidates must have 2-5 years of experience in a multi-specialty physician coding environment.
