This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with an experienced surgeon and become an integral part of a collaborative clinical and surgical team. The Physician Assistant will participate in the full continuum of patient care, including clinic visits, surgical care, postoperative follow-up, patient communication, and call coverage. Experienced PAs are encouraged to apply, and motivated new graduates with a strong interest in orthopaedics will be considered.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including imaging and laboratory testing.
  • Diagnose and treat orthopaedic conditions involving the shoulder, elbow, and knee.
  • Provide preoperative education and postoperative care for surgical patients.
  • Assist in surgery as assigned.

Perform office-based procedures, including injections, wound care, suture and staple removal, and other procedures within the PA's scope of practice.

  • Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations and practice protocols.
  • Monitor patient progress and provide continuity of care throughout treatment and recovery.
  • Triage and respond to patient calls, clinical questions, and urgent concerns.

Participate in call coverage for Dr. Nagda’s practice.

Coordinate referrals, rehabilitation, physical therapy, and other services necessary for comprehensive patient care.
