Key Responsibilities
The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of diagnostic ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, and gynecological procedures, while ensuring accurate image documentation in the PACS system. They are also responsible for patient safety, assisting physicians during procedures, and maintaining efficient workflow within the medical center.
Requirements
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved school of ultrasonography or have equivalent on-the-job training and be registered with the ARRT. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered RT or ultrasound technologist is required, along with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
