Key Responsibilities

The APP provides comprehensive care to medicine inpatients in collaboration with attending physicians, including rounding, documentation, and ordering tests. They also serve as a liaison between the medical team, patients, families, and ancillary services to ensure efficient discharge and transition of care.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner program and hold valid Connecticut medical licensure and DEA certification. One to two years of experience in caring for medicine inpatients and acute care training are required.
