Key Responsibilities

• Provide a level of care that goes beyond the traditional urgent care setting.

• Ensure comprehensive care for patients of all ages.

• Procedures to include EKG and X-ray interpretation, abscess incision and drainage, infection management, reduction of dislocations, splinting of minor fractures, laceration repair, IV hydration, and medication administration.

• Serve as a role model and leader for the clinical team.

Requirements

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (with pediatric experience) preferred.

• Licensed in state of practice.

• Experience with procedures such as suturing and abscess I&D.

• Experience with reading diagnostics studies, including X-rays and EKGs.
