The Registered Pharmacist provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service while filling and/or verifying prescriptions and counseling patients according to all state and federal regulations. Responsibilities also include assisting with pharmacy inventory, including controlled substances, and potentially assuming departmental responsibility in the manager's absence.
Candidates must possess a college degree and current licensure in pharmacy, along with continuing education to maintain licensure, and typically six months to a year of related work experience. Required abilities include scientific thinking for problem-solving, arithmetic calculations, and effective communication/counseling skills.
