Job Description

Manages day-to-day pharmacy operations in closed-door 340B Community Health Center Pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures. Manages pharmaceutical inventory and ensures the security of pharmacy facility.

Dispenses medications and provides immunizations and patient counseling. Ensures the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions. Supports the mission of organization and promotes utilization of available programs and grants to help eligible patients access affordable medications.

Provides clinical pharmacy services, including targeted and comprehensive medication reviews for optimization of therapy. Works under collaborative practice protocols when applicable. Works closely with medical providers as part of the patient care team to improve health outcomes.

Requirements

Requires a licensed pharmacist capable of managing a 340B community health center pharmacy in compliance with state and federal regulations. Must be able to work effectively with medical providers and support organizational programs for affordable medication access.
