Key Responsibilities
The Pharmacist Consultant evaluates physician medication orders for appropriateness and conducts monthly drug regimen reviews for residents. They also provide clinical recommendations to facility staff and document all communications with the healthcare team.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree or Doctorate in Pharmacy and possess a current license. An Immunization Certification is required, and previous experience in acute or long-term care is preferred.
