The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct health assessments, develop diagnoses and treatment plans in collaboration with physicians, and provide health education and counseling to pediatric patients with acute and chronic conditions. Responsibilities also include ordering and interpreting lab tests, participating in staffing, and coordinating care with other departments and community organizations.
Candidates must possess a Master of Science in Nursing or a Doctoral Degree Program and have 2-3 years of experience in a pediatric setting preferred. Required licensure includes being a Registered Nurse in Missouri and Kansas with an ARNP License, and completion of a recognized nurse practitioner program.
