The Registered Pharmacist provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service while accurately filling and/or verifying prescriptions and counseling patients according to all state and federal regulations. Key duties also involve assisting with pharmacy inventory, including controlled substances, and participating in coaching, training, and marketing pharmacy services.
Candidates must possess a college degree and a valid pharmacy license, along with continuing education to maintain licensure, and typically six months to a year of related work experience. Required abilities include logical problem-solving, arithmetic calculations, and the capacity to counsel patients and evaluate technical data.
