The Oral Surgeon will perform a wide spectrum of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including dental implants and third molar extractions. They are also responsible for developing treatment plans and collaborating with referring dentists to ensure high-quality patient care.
Candidates must hold a DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school and a specialty certificate from an accredited OMFS residency program. An active dental license in the state of practice is also required.
