Key Responsibilities
The Consultant Interventional Radiologist will be responsible for executing image-guided interventional procedures, such as angioplasty and embolization, and diagnosing/treating complex conditions using advanced imaging techniques. Key duties also include ensuring patient safety, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supervising junior staff.
Requirements
Candidates must possess the UK CCT certification in radiology along with FRCR or equivalent board certification. A minimum of three years of post-CCT experience specifically in interventional radiology, demonstrating strong expertise in both vascular and non-vascular interventions, is mandatory.
