Job Description

Role details

Location: Telehealth

Schedule Options: Choose between a 4-day (32-hour) or 5-day (40-hour) work week, with flexibility to design a schedule that fits both your preferences and your patients’ needs.

Reports to: Clinical Manager

Compensation

  • 32 hours/week (4-day work week): $44,000–$59,000 annually
  • 40 hours/week (5-day work week): $55,000–$70,000 annually
  • Final schedule and compensation are aligned based on candidate preference, experience, and availability

You love helping people heal. You just don’t love doing it all alone.

If you’ve ever run (or dreamed of running) your own private practice, you know what it takes — the marketing, the scheduling, the billing, the insurance headaches, the empty calendar days, the tech issues, the isolation…

At Simplex Health, you get the best parts of private practice — the autonomy, the flexibility, the deep 1:1 relationships with patients — without the burnout or business stress.

Here, you get to focus on what you do best: helping patients transform their health through integrative and functional nutrition.

What we are looking for

  • We are seeking mission-driven dietitians (RD/RDN) who:
  • Are passionate about integrative and functional nutrition
  • Thrive in a collaborative, growth-minded environment
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical care
  • Hold current registration with CDR
  • Are credentialed or open to being credentialed with insurance companies
  • Want to spend more time with patients and less time running a business

To avoid conflicts of interest, candidates should not maintain an active private practice or independent nutrition counseling business

Preferred

Availability for evening appointments strongly preferred to meet patient demand, with flexibility based on individual scheduling needs.

  • CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) strongly preferred
  • IFNA Certified (IFNCP credential a plus); candidates actively enrolled in IFNA training welcome

PA license and completion of major insurance credentialing required before start; this process may take 3–6 months.

Role Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Provide telehealth medical nutrition therapy using a functional and integrative approach
  • Implement Simplex Health protocols, tools, and educational materials in patient care
  • Assess the nutritional health of patients/clients and develop personalized, root-cause care plans
  • Create and modify individualized nutrition interventions based on patient needs and goals
  • Document all new and follow-up appointments in the Healthie platform with strong attention to detail
  • Respond to patient communications in a timely, professional, and supportive manner
  • Collaborate with team members through case discussions, meetings, and shared learning opportunities
  • Communicate openly and effectively to resolve work-related issues and support team outcomes
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment and ongoing clinical initiatives
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and clinical standards
  • Stay current with emerging research and best practices in nutrition and health

Manage a full and consistent patient caseload, ensuring timely follow-ups, continuity of care, and optimal patient outcomes

What to expect

  • At Simplex Health, you’ll have access to:
  • Structured onboarding and training
  • Regular case reviews and clinical collaboration
  • Real-time support via team chat and peer connection
  • Team meetings and shared learning opportunities
  • Opportunities to contribute to committees, resources, and clinical initiatives

Credentialing: If you’re not yet in-network, our team fully manages the insurance credentialing process on your behalf, including covering all associated fees and handling the paperwork.

Ramp-Up To Full-Time: This role begins in a ramp-up phase with variable hours as your patient caseload grows, transitioning into a full-time, salaried schedule once full-time metrics are met. Our team provides consistent referrals and support to help you build a full and sustainable schedule as quickly as possible.

Benefits

Flexible Scheduling: Choose between 32 or 40 hours per week, with the ability to structure your schedule in a way that works best for you and your patients

4-Day Work Week (32 hours): A condensed schedule option designed to support balance, energy, and sustainability

Supplement Commissions: Earn 12.5% of MSRP on supplements purchased through Fullscript, providing additional earning potential.

Performance-Based Bonus Opportunities: Earn additional income based on patient retention and face-to-face care time.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • 401(k) (after 90 days)
  • Discretionary Holiday Break: Office closed between Christmas and New Year’s
  • Fitness Allowance: Partial reimbursement for gym memberships, fitness classes, or wellness activities
  • Simplex Wellness on Demand: Free access to virtual fitness programs
