ABOUT THE ROLE Seneca’s Non-Public Schools are hiring for a Classroom Therapist to guide 5-12th graders to success at James Baldwin Academy in San Leandro, CA.
This position offers weekends off, a signing bonus, student loan benefits. Work with Seneca Family of Agencies in San Leandro, California.
The Classroom Therapist will provide healing-centered individual, group, and family therapy, along with case management services for a caseload of referred students. Responsibilities also include collaborating with caregivers and school staff, providing crisis intervention, and completing necessary documentation for service effectiveness and billing.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in a relevant field such as social work, marriage and family therapy, professional clinical counseling, or psychology, and must be registered or eligible for registration with the California BBS. Experience working with youth in a mental health or educational setting is strongly preferred, along with reliable transportation and necessary clearances.
