The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates patients and develops comprehensive speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing plans of care in collaboration with a physician. Core duties involve implementing therapy treatment plans, selecting appropriate activities to progress patient goals, and providing ongoing patient/family education and discharge instructions.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Speech Pathology and hold required certifications including SLP and BLS. Ideal candidates should have experience conducting Modified Barium Swallows and demonstrate effective communication, customer service focus, and teamwork skills.
