Job DetailsJob Location: Mesa, AZ 85203Position Type: Per DiemThe Respiratory Care Practitioner will provide cardio-pulmonary services according to the scope of the State Respiratory Care Practice Act and the hospital policy and procedure manuals. The Respiratory Care Practitioner may administer and perform those direct and indirect cardio-pulmonary services, including but not limited to, the administration of pharmacological and diagnostic and therapeutic agents related to cardio-pulmonary procedures necessary to implement a treatment, disease prevention pulmonary rehabilitation, and diagnostic regimen prescribed by a physician using safe and aseptic techniques.
Qualifications Graduate of an American Medical Association approved School of Respiratory Care Current National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential (i. e., CRT, RRT). Current and valid State Respiratory Care Licensure Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, prioritizing, and critical thinking skills Must be able to read, write, and speak English Sufficient hearing, vision and dexterity to perform duties safely
Key Responsibilities
The Respiratory Care Practitioner will deliver cardio-pulmonary services in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies, which includes administering pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic agents related to cardio-pulmonary procedures.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Care and hold current NBRC credentials (CRT or RRT) along with a valid State Respiratory Care Licensure. Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills are required, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
