Key Responsibilities
The Spiritual Care Counselor provides spiritual support and counseling to hospice patients and their families, either directly or through referrals. They also participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, document patient interactions, and facilitate memorial services as requested.
Requirements
Candidates must have at least one year of clinical experience as a chaplain or in pastoral care and have completed at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide culturally sensitive support in a hospice environment are required.
