Key Responsibilities

The Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing psychiatric care and consultations, including the assessment and treatment of mental illness. This role also involves collaboration with interdisciplinary health teams, discharge planning, and conducting telepsychiatry sessions.

Licensure & Certifications

Candidates must possess a current license in psychiatry from a provincial licensing body and specialty training accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent. A mandatory minimum of six months of psychiatric care experience within the last two years is required, along with professional references.
