Medical Social Worker - Pediatrics

Key Responsibilities

The Medical Social Worker provides psychosocial assessments, case management, and resource coordination to address barriers to patient health. They also facilitate crisis intervention and advocate for patients by connecting them with community agencies.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in social work from an accredited school and possess a valid, unrestricted clinical social work license in Michigan. A minimum of 2 years of experience working with vulnerable populations is required, with preference given to those with pediatric and medical setting experience.
