Managed Care Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities

The Pharmacist ensures the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of pharmaceutical care by overseeing the review, compounding, and dispensing of medications, including monitoring patient profiles for appropriateness of drug therapy. This role also involves providing leadership to pharmacy staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, contributing clinical expertise to institutional decision-making, and promoting quality pharmaceutical practices.

Requirements

Candidates must possess comprehensive knowledge of prescription medications, controlled substance regulations, and clinical pharmacy practices, including interpreting lab results and evaluating drug interactions. Required qualifications include a valid Oklahoma pharmacist license plus three years of experience, or a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a valid Oklahoma license.
