About the Role

Join Homewood Health Centre as a Psychiatrist - Older Adult Assessment & Stabilization Service (OASIS) in United States. Position Summary A full-time opportunity for a Psychiatrist in our Geropsychiatric OASIS Service, starting immediately. This position is within our Regional Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • will be responsible for clinical psychiatric care of patients as they engage in their recovery journey.
  • Provide ongoing supervision and management of clinical/patient care including daily rounds and sufficient in.
  • Provide clinical guidance to the program and to the admitting department for appropriate and timely referral.

Requirements

Candidates must be a Psychiatrist specializing in Geriatrics, certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPS) (C) or equivalent, and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Experience with complex geropsychiatric disorders and comorbid substance use disorders is preferred, alongside strong collaboration and critical thinking skills.
