Job Description

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Safe and Supportive Environment Monitors and assess changes in the tone and quality of the therapeutic milieu and addresses potential concerns that threaten patients' optimal safety, healing, and supportive environment. Suicide Prevention Observes, records, and monitors behaviors related to risk of patient suicide. Patient Updates Communicates pertinent patient information, condition changes, and incidents to the multidisciplinary team. Patient Care Documentation Documents patient care information and ensures timely and accurate completion of patient care records in accordance with policies and procedures. Adherence to Treatment Plans Closely monitors and adheres to patient treatment plans in the delivery of care. Situational De-escalation De-escalates situations involving agitated or aggressive patients to prevent behavioral-based safety hazards using established principles in de-escalation, including potential application of physical restraints. Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) Successfully passes Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI).

Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Social Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required. Preferred qualifications include one year of social services experience, Crisis Intervention certification, and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
