Key Responsibilities
The Patient Care Assistant provides direct care to acute and sub-acute patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for patients.
Requirements
There are no formal education or experience requirements for this position, though one year of related experience is preferred. Candidates must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to performing patient care duties.
