Join Animal Care & Control of NYC as a Veterinarian – Full-Time, Flexible Schedule in Manhattan, New York, NY, US. Veterinarian Full Time, Flexible – Queens & Manhattan Shelter Who We Are ACC is one of the nation’s largest open-admission animal shelters, whose mission is to End Animal Homelessness in NYC. We touch the lives of nearly 20,000 animals each year.

Key Responsibilities
The veterinarian will manage a high-volume surgical and medical caseload while contributing to population-based preventative health plans. They will also provide expert witness testimony for cruelty cases and collaborate with shelter staff to ensure positive animal outcomes.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree and possess a valid NYS veterinary license. Strong surgical and diagnostic skills are required, along with the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
