Job description

Join Animal Care & Control of NYC as a Veterinarian, Foster & Population Health – Part-Time in Manhattan, New York, NY, US. Veterinarian, Foster and Population Health Schedule Part-Time - 24hours a week with one weekend day required. Who We Are ACC is one of the nation’s largest open-admission animal shelters, whose mission is to End Animal Homelessness in NYC.

Key Responsibilities

The Veterinarian will provide medical care to foster animals, including wellness exams, minor surgeries, and behavior management. They will also collaborate with the shelter team to develop medical protocols and participate in population health rounds.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a NYS Licensed DVM and possess at least 2 years of experience in general practice or a shelter setting. The role requires the ability to travel between five boroughs and lift at least 50 lbs.
