The ARNP is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and directing treatment for adult patients with acute psychiatric disorders in an inpatient setting. They lead interdisciplinary treatment teams and coordinate care with primary providers and social workers to ensure effective discharge planning.
Candidates must hold a graduate degree from an accredited advanced nursing program and possess an active Washington state RN and NP license. Additional requirements include current BLS certification, an active DEA license, and relevant psychiatric certification.
