About the Role

Join University of Vermont Health Network as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - AHMC in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and manage hospitalized patients in coordination with the Hospitalist physician.

Respond to nursing staff calls and evaluate changes in patient condition.

Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.

Prescribe medications and develop evidence‑based treatment plans.

Requirements

Nurse Practitioners (NP): Completion of a master’s, post‑master’s, or doctoral NP program accredited by CCNE or ACEN.

Current national certification (such as ANCC, or equivalent).

Physician Assistants (PA): Graduation from an ARC‑PA–accredited PA program (or qualifying predecessor program).

Current NCCPA certification.

Benefits & Compensation

Hourly rate: $96.81/hr.

Work Schedule

Full-time position.

Weekend coverage may be required.

Day shift only - no nights.
