About the Role
Join University of Vermont Health Network as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - AHMC in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage hospitalized patients in coordination with the Hospitalist physician.
- Respond to nursing staff calls and evaluate changes in patient condition.
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and develop evidence‑based treatment plans.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioners (NP): Completion of a master’s, post‑master’s, or doctoral NP program accredited by CCNE or ACEN.
- Current national certification (such as ANCC, or equivalent).
- Physician Assistants (PA): Graduation from an ARC‑PA–accredited PA program (or qualifying predecessor program).
- Current NCCPA certification.
Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly rate: $96.81/hr.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Weekend coverage may be required.
- Day shift only - no nights.
