About the Role

Join University of Vermont Health Network as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - AHMC in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage hospitalized patients in coordination with the Hospitalist physician.
  • Respond to nursing staff calls and evaluate changes in patient condition.
  • Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribe medications and develop evidence‑based treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Nurse Practitioners (NP): Completion of a master’s, post‑master’s, or doctoral NP program accredited by CCNE or ACEN.
  • Current national certification (such as ANCC, or equivalent).
  • Physician Assistants (PA): Graduation from an ARC‑PA–accredited PA program (or qualifying predecessor program).
  • Current NCCPA certification.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Hourly rate: $96.81/hr.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Weekend coverage may be required.
  • Day shift only - no nights.
