The physician will oversee the diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries while coordinating patient care through an interdisciplinary approach. They are responsible for preparing patients for return to work and recommending appropriate diagnostic tests to determine the extent of injuries.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and be board certified or eligible in a relevant specialty such as Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine, or PM&R. An unrestricted medical license in the state of practice and current BLS/ACLS certification are required.
