Job Description
Bassett Healthcare Network, in central New York is seeking a full-time BC/BE Division Chief for our Digestive Diseases department.
- Salary Range: $615,000 - $725,000
- Sign-on Bonus: up to $200,000

- Join an established group of 5 physicians and 4 advanced practice clinicians
- Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons
- Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
- Demonstrated proficiency in standard GI procedures and testing
- Educational focus – teach and mentor residents and medical students
- Call no more frequent than 1:4

- MD, DO or MBBS
- BC/BE
- Completion of an accredited USA Gastroenterology Fellowship
- 5 to 10 years post fellowship highly preferred
- Established clinician with leadership experience
- Experience in program development
- Interest in teaching residents and students
- New York State licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS certification required
- DEA required
Compensation
Salary Range: $615,000 - $725,000.
This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
Sign-On bonus: up to $200,000
Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.

Key Responsibilities
The Division Chief will lead the Digestive Diseases department, overseeing a team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians. Responsibilities include performing standard GI procedures, mentoring residents and medical students, and driving program development within the network.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an MD, DO, or MBBS degree and have completed an accredited USA Gastroenterology Fellowship. Applicants should possess 5 to 10 years of post-fellowship experience, leadership skills, and active New York State licensure.
