Key Responsibilities

Provides respiratory therapies and maintains mechanical ventilation and airway support following age-appropriate standards of care. Performs point-of-care testing and provides invasive and non-invasive monitoring to ensure patient safety.

Requirements

Requires graduation from an AMA-approved respiratory care program and current RRT certification by the NBRC. Must hold a North Carolina RCP license and maintain required life support certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
