The Addictions Counselor will interview and screen individuals seeking admission to opioid treatment programs, plan and evaluate individualized treatment plans, and provide counseling services. They will also monitor patient progress and maintain records.
Candidates must have a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) certification and a current certification from NYS Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS). Experience in substance use disorder treatment is preferred.
