What We Are Looking For

UF Health Medical Group in Leesburg, FL, and The Villages, FL is seeking a full-time, highly skilled, and Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Fracture Care Surgeon. The candidate will be primarily responsible for the evaluation and surgical management of injuries. Experience is preferred; however, new graduates will be considered. This is an outstanding opportunity for any professional with a wealth of knowledge in their field.

Expected Salary

Commensurate with experience and education

Minimum Requirements

Licensed to practice medicine in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes* plus four years of appropriate experience. Completion of a residency program may substitute for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Specialty License or Certification; Board certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty; Certification/Licensure in the state of Florida and Federal DEA Certification.

Key Responsibilities

The surgeon will be responsible for the evaluation and surgical management of orthopedic injuries. They will provide care within the UF Health Central Florida hospital system, including inpatient acute and rehabilitation settings.

Requirements

Candidates must be licensed to practice medicine in Florida and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. A minimum of four years of experience is required, though residency completion may substitute for this experience.
