Job Details: Job Location: USE FOR ALL OWENSBORO REQUISITIONS - Owensboro, KY, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: Master's degree, Salary Range: $120000.00 - $149000.00Salary/year, Travel Percentage: Frequent, Job Shift: Day, The PMHNP will provide comprehensive psychiatric care and mental health services to individuals across the lifespan, helping patients manage and overcome mental health disorders.

Position Overview & Requirements We are seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/APRN) Float to support our programs and expand access to care across our service areas.
This position will not be assigned to a single location but will travel to the areas with the greatest need for provider coverage. Those areas may include any of the seven counties we serve: Daviess, Hancock, Ohio, Mclean, Henderson, Union, Webster.
Travel Required: Flexibility to travel between our locations based on staffing needs and access-to-care demands. Mileage Reimbursement for work-related travel. Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT): This position will provide coverage for MAT services in addition to other psychiatric services across our programs.
Experience Required: Candidates must have the experience and prescribing eligibility necessary to provide MAT services, including meeting applicable requirements for prescribing medications used in MAT.
Full-Time Position: This is a full-time role supporting multiple locations and programs based on organizational needs.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and therapeutic interventions. Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients, either individually or in group settings.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and counselors, to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care. Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary.
Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment plans, and coping strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements. Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education programs. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health. Current and valid license to practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state. National certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a PMHNP.
Experience preferred but not required in psychiatric care, preferably in an outpatient or behavioral health setting. Strong understanding of psychiatric medications, therapies, and treatment modalities. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Key Responsibilities
The PMHNP will conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans including medication management and psychotherapy. They will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated, whole-person care across multiple service locations.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health and possess a valid PMHNP license. Additionally, they must have the necessary credentials and eligibility to provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services.
