Key Responsibilities
- Conducts comprehensive physical assessments and develops individualized treatment plans to restore function, improve mobility, and promote overall wellness.
- Evaluate strength, coordination, balance, and other key functions to determine patients' abilities and support reintegration into daily life or the workplace.
- Treatment includes therapeutic interventions, patient education, and assistive devices, with ongoing revisions as needed.
- Contributes to physician's effectiveness by identifying patient care issues, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing physician directives.
Requirements
- A Master's degree or better in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate is strongly preferred.
- Must be licensed to practice Physical Therapy in Oregon.
- Minimum 3 (three) years’ experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred. Minimum 5 (five) years of experience is strongly preferred.
- Specialty certification in Neuro, Ortho, Geriatric/Conditioning or Cardiopulmonary is preferred.
