Company Profile
This multi-site private urology practice has been serving patients in the greater Phoenix area since 2008. Their services include, but are not limited to, female urology, robotic surgery, male infertility, and more. They currently employ a staff of 10 providers and many support team members.
Position Description
Physicians work with clinical assistants who room and prep patients, as well as assist during the visits. If desired, physicians can work with the support of a physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
The average number of patients per day varies by need and physician preference. Visits are scheduled based on the estimated length of time needed to ensure optimal attention for each patient. All patients are adult/geriatric.
Typical duties of the role include
- conduct patient examinations
- assess medical conditions
- diagnose disorders related to the genitourinary organs and connected tissues
- treat disorders related to the reproductive organs, urinary tract, bladder, and kidneys
- monitor disorders related to the genitourinary organs and connected tissues
- perform procedures and treatments
- prescribe medications as needed
- refer patients to other specialists as needed
The practice utilizes the Athena EHR.
On-call duties are every 4th week and shared between physicians and APPs.
Requirements
- Arizona medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification or Eligibility, Urology
